Pragmatic Palm Products Limited (PPPL) was born from a bold vision: to revitalize and reimagine the legacy of Enugu’s once-thriving United Palm Products Limited (EUPPL). As a Special Purpose Vehicle created by Diamond Stripes Limited, in partnership with the Enugu State Government, we are committed to transforming the aging UPPL assets into a modern, efficient, and globally competitive palm products company. We’re not just restoring a farm—we’re building a future-proof agribusiness anchored on value creation, innovation, and sustainability.

History of EUPPL

United Palm Products Limited (UPPL) was established in the 1970s to harness Enugu State’s rich agricultural potential. Spread across three large estates in Ugwuoba, Umulokpa, and Ibite-Olo with nearly 7,000 hectares of land, UPPL once flourished but fell into decline due to years of mismanagement and underutilization. Today, through strategic investments and restructuring, PPPL is breathing new life into this legacy by modernizing operations, expanding cultivation, and unlocking the full potential of these assets.

Product Application and Target Market

Our primary products—Crude Palm Oil (CPO), Palm Kernel Oil (PKO), Palm Kernel
Cake (PKC), and other palm-based derivatives—serve multiple industries.

These include food processing, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, biofuels, and animal nutrition.

Our target market is primarily business-to-business (B2B), focusing on manufacturers and bulk processors who require reliable, high-quality palm inputs at scale. With existing off-take agreements and expressions of interest from major players, we’re well-positioned to meet the rising demand both locally and regionally.
